OPERACIÓN

Mi producción de obra es escultórica, se instala en la lógica del sitio específico apostando por la resignificación de lo ya dado, abordando distintas posibilidades del habitar. Me interesan los cruces de sentido, los híbridos y la paradoja. Opero desde relecturas de espacios por medio de la apropiación y reutilización de códigos y dinámicas ya existentes.

Mis estrategias operativas utilizan espacios determinados y pies forzados a modo de constricciones o restricciones (con tal de evitar el azar, recojo como objeto de investigación la producción del grupo OULIPO).

El motor gestual es la mímesis para la formulación de interrogantes. En esa línea el camuflaje y el acople a un contexto son los ejes operativos. La ejecución de figuras retóricas como los anagramas y retruécanos visuales son las herramientas de resignificación.

Mi producción es contextual, opera desde la manipulación del objeto y el espacio que habita, no obstante, su principal característica responde a una articulación conceptual.

STATEMENT

My work production is sculptural, it is installed in the logic of the site specific aiming at the resignificance of the already given, addressing different possibilities of inhabiting. I am interested in the intercrossing of meaning, hybrids and paradoxes derived from reinterpretations of spaces through the appropriation and reuse of existing codes and dynamics.
My operational strategies use certain spaces and “pie forzado” as constrictions or restrictions. In order to avoid chance, I take OULIPO group’s production as an object of investigation.
The gestural motive is mimesis for the formulation of questions. In that line, camouflage and coupling to a context are the operational axes. The development of rhetorical figures such as anagrams and visual puns are tools of resignification.
My production is contextual, it operates from the manipulation of the object and the space it inhabits. However, its main characteristic responds to a conceptual articulation.
